About Camps Bay Squash Club

The club is owned by the community and provides a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with a vibrant social scene and a strong league presence. Our 160+ members enjoy regular social games and an action-packed winter league where Camps Bay fields no less than 17 teams. There are also regular club champs and a very social summer league with gourmet meals, wine/ beer tasting evenings and other exciting events.

The squash club has four courts and is part of the Camps Bay Sports Complex which includes soccer, tennis and cricket and is located next to the Bay Hotel on the corner of Meadway and The Drive.
The club is secure and has ample parking for all members. The clubhouse has extensive changing rooms, permanent hot water (thanks to gas geysers) and a bar on the first floor which overlooks the beautiful and picturesque sports fields and Camps Bay beachfront. Members can unwind in a cool sea breeze while overlooking panoramic views of the Atlantic with spectacular sunsets and palm- fringed beaches.

Our aim is to provide members with the best possible squash facilities in Cape Town and we pride ourselves on having truly competitive membership rates while offering a first class sports experience to our members and fielding a large number of teams in the WP League.

We have a squash club to be proud of and work hard to keep it that way!

"Squash is the essence of modern-day sport. It pits athlete against athlete, in an enclosed court, with only one emerging victor. It is a short, intense duel of skill, brains, agility and athleticism that commands an audience's attention and keeps them on the edge of their seats — like a turbo-charged game of chess."
